Seeking a New DW Beta Reader
Hello FLIST!
I'm hoping that someone out there will be able to help me out! I'm in need of a new beta reader (or two) for my DW fic!
At the moment, it's mostly a few short, one shot or 2-5 chapter fics that I'll need help with, but I'm planning to write another, longer fic in November and I'm hoping that whoever I find now will be willing to help me with that as well. (The advantage of this is that I can send it to you in pieces as I write it so it won't be as arduous of a task).
It's important to note that I am looking for someone who is willing to beta for more than just grammar. While that's important and necessary, I also need someone who's willing to look critically at my plot/characters etc and who's willing to call me on things. I don't want nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking, but I also don't want to get away with sloppy writing. So if I've glossed over something and I need to expand on it, I want to be told. Also, although I don't need it all the time, it's also nice to be told which parts of the story you're enjoying even if it's just a quick happy face or "Yay" or LOL!
If this is something you feel like you'd be willing and able to take on, please let me know either in the comments or by PM. Ideally, I'd like to find at least two new people who are willing to beta Doctor Who stuff for me regularly.
