LOST's finale: My Top 10 Scenes
I was going to make a picspam of my Top 5 scenes. But HAH, who am I trying to kid, right? It's simply impossible to just post five pretty scenes when you can post 10. Even choosing only 10 was hard enough. This finale is just ZOMFG SO PUUUURTY. But well, I got to narrow it down to 10 scenes.

SAWYER: Thanks, Doc. For everything.
They both wanted the same girl. Their way of seeing life was completely different. And they argued a fricken lot. But since the beginning you could tell that they did respect and care about each other. So I'm glad they ended up in good terms.

BEN: I think Desmond's gonna be okay.
HURLEY: Jack is gone. Isn't he?
BEN: He did his job, Hugo.
HURLEY: It's my job now. What the hell am I supposed to do?
BEN: I think you do what you do best. Take care of people. You can start by helping Desmond get home.
HURLEY: But how? People can't leave the island.
BEN: That's how Jacob ran things. Maybe there's another way. A better way.
HURLEY: Will you help me?
BEN: I'm sorry?
HURLEY: I'd really use someone who's like experienced for a little while. Could you help me, Ben?
BEN: I'd be honored.
HURLEY: Cool.

BEN: Hello Hugo.
HURLEY: We're all inside.
BEN: I don't think I'm coming in.
HURLEY: You know, you're a real good number 2.
BEN: And you're a great number one, Hugo.

I wanted Ben to keep being kickass and the bad guy he always were. But still, I loved this moment. He got to stay in the island and have some kind of leadership and he didn't get to move on like the others, what makes me cling to him not being completely redeemed after all. And Hurley surely was a great number one. I'm sure he was a way better leader than Failcob ever was.

SUN: I'm a little sore.
JIN: That happens when you get shot. There's a doctor coming to look at the baby. If everything's alright, they say we can leave.
SUN: Leave? And just keep running from my father?
[Juliet walks in]
Juliet: Am I interrupting? Hi. Miss Paik? I'm Juliet Carlson, i'm here to make sure your baby is okay. You must be the daddy. I'm sorry, you don't speak English, I'm- I'll try not to talk too much. Okay, you have to up your gown a little bit. It’s a little cold. Okay. Let’s take a look. You okay?
JIN: Are you all right?
SUN: I…remember.
JIN: Remember what?
JULIET: There it is. There’s your baby.
SUN: Did you see?
JULIET: Do you see that little flutter? Right there? That’s the baby’s heartbeat. Perfectly perfect in every way. I have your amnio results. Everything checked out. Would you like to know if it’s a boy or a girl?
SUN: It’s a girl.
JULIET: Yeah.
JIN: Her name is Ji Yeon.
JULIET: That’s a lovely name. And for the record, yo-you two speak English just fine. Congratulations.
Unlike 95% of the fandom I don't care at all about Sun and Jin. But this scene was so emotional it made me cry. And JUUUUUUULIET. I squeed so much when I saw her ? The fact that she's a obstetrician on the flashsideways/limbo/whatever made me so happy, it made up for all the times she had to tell pregnant women their babies would die.

This moment gave me so much hope. Okay that it was only to make fool of us, poor Skaters. But still, the way they looked at each other, it totally gave me the chills.

JACK: Mr. Locke, can you hear me? John, are you awake? I need you to try not to move and just relax, okay?
LOCKE: It worked.
JACK: It went well. But we won't know how well you responded to the surgery-
LOCKE: No, doctor Shepherd. It worked. I can feel my legs.
JACK: John, it's highly unlikely that you'd regain sensation so quickly so-
LOCKE: Oh. Oh. Did you see that?
JACK: See what?
LOCKE: You don't remember?
JACK: Hm, Mr. Locke, please, you just have to relax. What you need to do-
LOCKE: What we need to do is go.
JACK: No, no, hey John.
LOCKE: Will you come with me?
JACK: We are not going anywhere. You just had an extensive spinal surgery and I- I need to go see my son.
LOCKE: You don't have a son.
JACK: What?
LOCKE: You don't have a son, Jack.
NURSE: Doctor?
JACK: Jane, would you give Mr. Locke something that'd help him rest? I have to go.
LOCKE: Jack? I hope that somebody does for you what you just did for me.
Locke is my favorite, I love Terry to bits and he was fantastic in this scene. The way he looks at Jack when he says "we are nto going anywhere" and the way he smiles, probably thinking "that's the Jack, I know". It warms my heart. I loved Locke and Jack's fights and how they were so different from each other but still in te end, Jack got to help John to get what he wanted: literally move on.

SAWYER: It’s okay, I’m - I’m a cop.
JULIET: Maybe you should read the machine its rights.
SAWYER: That’s funny.
JULIET: Can I tell you a secret?
SAWYER: Please.
JULIET: If you unplug it and then plug it back again, the candy drops right then.
SAWYER: Is that right?
JULIET: Yes. And it's technically legal.
SAWYER: I'll give it a shot. Oops.
JULIET: It worked.
SAWYER: Oh. Did you feel that?
JULIET: We should get coffee sometime.
SAWYER: I’d love to, but that machine ate my dollar, I only got one left.
JULIET: We can go Dutch.
SAWYER: Juliet? Juliet, it's me. It's me, baby. I got ya. I got ya, baby.
JULIET: Kiss me, James.
SAWYER: You got it, blondie.
Truth is: were I a shipper, this scene would be way higher on my list. And truth also is: if it weren't Elizabeth and Josh playing those characters, this scene wouldn't be here at all. I don't exactly buy Suliet, it seems fake to me. And yet, this scene moved me. It made me cry. And it's all Elizabeth and Josh's fault. Because they are SUCH great actors, they blow me away. This scene was just TOO beautiful.

KATE: Just breathe, okay? Breathe, breathe, breathe. Help is on the way.
CLAIRE: It's happening like, right now.
KATE: Right now?
[Charlie walks in]
Kate: Uhn, uhn. I'm gonna get you comfortable. I need you to relax and breathe, alright? Just relax and breathe.
CLAIRE: Who are you?
CHARLIE: I'm with the band.
KATE: Can you get us some water and blankets please?
CHARLIE: Water and blankets?
[he leaves]
KATE: Claire, this is about the time when you're supposed to start pushing.
CLAIRE: No, no, no. I'm-I'm really scared.
KATE: I'm scared too, alright? Really scared. But I'm gonna need you to push because I can't do it without you. Okay? Okay. 1, 2, 3 push! PUUSH! That's good, that's good. We're gonna try again, we're doing good. 1, 2, 3 PUSH! Hm-Hm Okay, pu-push again. PUSH!
CLAIRE: It's Aaron, it's Aaron.
[Charlie comes back]
CHARLIE: I brought blankets.
KATE: Thank you.
CHARLIE: It's just blankets.
KATE: You go ahead and bring it to her.
CHARLIE: I couldn't find any water.
CLAIRE: Charlie.
CHARLIE: Claire, Claire. Oh, Aaron.
This scene makes me cry every single time I watch it. It's so perfect. Kate and Claire's happiness when Aaron is brought back to their lives is so touching. I love he's the constant of them both. And then Charlie comes over and the island's family reunites. It's so cute.

JACK: Doctor. I didn’t know you were working today.
JULIET: I just finished. Did you get the tickets for the concerts?
JACK: Yeah, right here.
DAVID: Hey dad, did you remember the tickets?
JACK: I just gave them to your mom.
DAVID: Who’s gonna take yours?
JACK: Well, if you don’t have anybody else we could take Aunt Claire. I’m sure she’d love to get out the house
JULIET: Oh yeah, it’s fine with me. In fact, I’m curious to meet this mysterious sister you never mentioned the entire time we were married.
JACK: Well, I’m sure you’re gonna love her, she’s extremely pregnant.
[smiles, smiles and more smiles]
JULIET: Good luck on your surgery, doctor.
JACK: Thank you.
They look so PERFECT together. I still can’t get over how awesome this scene is. The joking around, how pretty they are, how they act so comfortable around each other, how much like a family they look like, how pretty they are, how they are all wearing blue, how pretty they are, the amount of smiles and did I mention they look pretty together?!!? *.*
It was perfect during the whole 2 minutes it lasted.

BEN: Hello, John.
LOCKE: Is everyone already inside?
BEN: I believe most of them are, yes. I’m very sorry for what I did to you, John. I was selfish. Jealous. I wanted everything you had.
LOCKE: What did I have?
BEN: You were special, John. But I wasn’t.
LOCKE: Well if it helps Ben, I forgive you.
BEN: Thank you John. That does help. It matters more than I can say.
LOCKE: What you're gonna do now?
BEN: I have some things I still need to work out. I'll stay here awhile. You know, I don't think you need to be on that chair anymore.
LOCKE: Goodbye, Ben.
Terry and Michael are my favorite so it felt bittersweet to watch this scene. Again, I'd prefer Ben to keep on being a badass and still I'm glad he apologized to John. And that he admited John is special. Because he truly is ♥ Plus Locke walking :DDD

CHRISTIAN: This is the place that you all made together so that you could find one another. The most important part of your life was the time you that spent with these people. That’s why all of you are here. Nobody does it alone, Jack. You needed all of them… And they needed you.
JACK: For what?
CHRISTIAN: To remember. And to… let go.
JACK: Kate… she said we were leaving.
CHRISTIAN: Not leaving, no. Moving on.
JACK: Where are we going?
CHRISTIAN: Let’s go find out.
BEST. SCENE. ON. TELEVISION. Hands down. It’s SO ABSURDLY PRETTY. I can’t even… I have no words. Everyone hugging and being happy, the light coming inside the church. And the fact that all of them move on TOGETHER. It makes me SO happy. I absolutely loved this end.
