Happy Halloween

Nov 01, 2006 00:09

Okay, as it was requested (or might I say "demanded"?) I'll post here even when I don't have any icons/banners/PS work. Okay that today I do have some icons, but it's not the point.

Anyway, I've been looking forward a Halloween party all month and it seems that people don't really get the spirit of Halloween. C'mon people, that's fun, you get all dressed, you can let out all of your hiden feelings and all those philosophical (spell?) things... above all, you should have fun. You can point out the fact that in Carnaval you get all of that plus almost-naked-people plus cool songs plus all the fun in the world plus the fact that it lasts 4 days. But brazilians really should take Halloween as a holyday too. Any excuse to don't have class (fine, I skipped school but again: that's not the point) and go to a party is just fine for me.
So you guys from other countries that DOES celebrate Halloween properly, HAVE A NICE HALLOWEEN PARTY! And have all the fun in the world for me. Not that it consolates me.

Now, changing the subject completelly. Why people don't get the "common sense" meaning? Aff, it really irritates me. Let me point out somethings that annoys me A LOT:

* When I hold the elevator's door for someone and I DO NOT receive a "thank you" in response
* When I'm walking on the sidewalk and people just stop and forget that the other way to me to pass is the street, where there are CARS on it *rolling eyes*
* When I'm at the shopping mall and people stop in front of the window shop to talk. Hello! There's the food court. You can talk there. There are some benches in the mall. Go talk there. If you don't want to look at the things that are in the window shop let other people look at it!
* When you ask something using all of your politeness and the person replies to you as if it was your fault that that person day is sucking. I have nothing do with it, people!
* When I don't find a cool Halloween party that will have cool songs being played instead of FUNK (a brazilian music rithym/genre that should not be considered REAL MUSIC)

I promise that next time I'll try to come and say beautiful things instead of just complaining.

P.S: So sorry about all the grammar, spell and a lot of other errors that you probably found in this post. As you may have noticed, english is my second language.
