Theory bandied about Chez nerdvana this evening after watching the most recent BSG episode:
The first 7 Cylon humanoids are originally from Earth, and were there during whatever holocaust wiped out the planet, but they're all sterile pairings because they've all been cloned too many times. And the reason why there are 2000+ year old skin-job skeletons on Earth? Wormhole! And then, in the final episode, Dr. Samuel Beckett leaps in -- he never went home, so god knows what he's been up to in all these years. And then the Twitterverse explodes, and it takes 8 days for all the messages to propagate, and the entire Internet crashes in a giant wanksplosion.
