Thankful Thursday
It occurs to me that today is Thursday. Needless to say I've been a little remiss on my Thankful Thursday list for a while. I need to get back to them so here we go:
1. I am thankful for the many friends and family who continue to help me out. Being a single parent is HARD! I have a new respect for all of them.
2. I am thankful for my two amazing kids who graduated Kindergarten this week. I had to run from one end of the school to the other to see half of each program but they both knew I was there and where I was when I wasn't and we all survived. It didn't hurt that we went to Ledo's after and then to the "big playground" at Cove Point Park.
3. I am thankful for my job. Having one these days is not a given by any stretch and I have a good one that pays well. And I work with a great team who makes me laugh.
4. I am thankful for Summer. I love being able to play in the soil and enjoy all the things growing in my yard. Well except for the Poison Ivy. In that case I am thankful for Tris who isn't alergic to it at all and went on a search and remove mission for me since I am HIGHLY allergic to the stuff.
5. I am thankful for new friends. They have been making my days better too.
6. I am thankful for Ms. Betsy. The kids love her and she loves them and I don't have to worry about them when she has them. Peace of Mind is awesome. =)
7. I am thankful for my kitties. They are good company and they crack me up on a regular basis.
8. By the end of today I'm pretty sure I'm going to be thankful for my new rugs for the front room. No more icky carpet!!! (and I'm thankful for the human forklift, Adam, who will help me get them from my truck into the house.)
