Ways of the mind

I keep thinking that at some point, I will begin to write down my many philosophies on life and the purpose of the universe. However, my mind doesn't appear to work like that. It would appear that my mind works in "question answer" sort of way as opposed to a linear "what did I do yesterday" sort of way. I find that it is never difficult for me to answer direct questions (to which I know the answer, obviously), yet when I try to sit down and write about what I was doing yesterday, I just can't seem to remember. To further complicate things, I seem to have a difficult time remembering if I am the one directly asking the questions.

Its quite a conundrum. I have made a good living with computers because of the way my mind works (the situation in need of repair asks the question in that case, therefore making it easy for me to devise an answer) but it certainly doesn't appear to lend itself well to writing journals and such. I seem to work much better when I work with someone to bounce ideas off of. Oh well, perhaps this little journal exercise I'm doing here will help unlock a different way of using my mind.

Then again...
