(no subject)
Good morning from the wilds of B.C. everyone! After 26 hours of travel and 4 hours of time change, I'm finally rested and back in an English part of the country (despite still being half a country away from home). It's beautiful out here! Nothing but trees and space as far as the eye can see...I love it! We're staying in a 1970s style cult owned house on the outskirts of our town (pop. 1000 or so). It's like being out at my Grandma's place in Lac Du Bonnet.
Things to get use to:
Buying everyday products in English again, and not speaking French to our confused small town store owners.
Being able to understand people yelling at me and calling me dumbass!
Being 3 hours behind everyone back home.
Just figured I'd let people know I'm still alive, things are going great, and today I get to visit some new job placements...no more Ski Hill!
