The advantages of being lazy

It occurred to me today that one of the advantages of being lazy is that you necessarily develop a superior sense of prioritisation. If you're only going to do one thing of note in a day then it is more important that you do the most important thing. By contrast, those people who tend to be more active and productive can take a more scattergun approach, since they can be reasonably confident of doing all the important things simply by doing near enough everything.

Interestingly, I came to this realisation on a day when I did many things: most notably constructing the Tudor fish, distressing R's clothes so she can be a pirate again and baking the "Double complete rainbow! All the way!" cupcakes, but I am tired now and so the pictures I have will remain on my camera.
