More running around earlier this week, but the final loose end has been taken care of: I dashed back to Edgware Road in central London at the end of last week to retrieve my passport from the Azerbaijani Embassy, sporting another fresh visa sticker for Azerbaijan. Once back into my hands, applying online for my Armenian visa was quite simple, getting it confirmed 2 days later on Tuesday along with the print-out sticker for my passport.
That was, pretty much, the final political hurdle to my trip: I don't need any other visas (Georgia is fairly open). Everything else has been taken care of: the airport transfer from Yerevan airport to the city has been nailed down (due to a 4am arrival!). Recent overtime has padded out the bank account, as Caucasian currency isn't the easiest in the world to procure, and I'll have to hit ATMs as I travel for the spending money.
All that's left is to turn up: I leave tomorrow!
