Six years from Australia

Today, twosix days after my birthday, is another interesting anniversary of mine: it's now been six years since I left Australia permanently. On May 21st 2005, I took a Malaysian Airlines flight from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur on the first leg of my first trip to Europe, and left my homeland for the first time

Indeed! It was always fun! But we'll have to coordinate internationally, as I'm moving to Madrid in ten days time ;D I'm starting a new job out there (two week training period at the end of June and hopefully they'll want to keep me on after that). So, maybe you can pop over and see me there, or we can rendezvous somewhere in pretty? I've been to Lagos in the south of Portugal, which was very pretty but there wasn't much going on! Once I'm settled we can always just pick somewhere random based on what's cheap?

Definitely have to pop over and see you there, it's been years since I was there last! I can't think of a better idea than to twirl around the country with you as my guide. *grin*

Or yes there's always the 1p Ryanair random challenge, but that depends on how well-connected Madrid is to the budget airline hub....?
