$%^*$%^*$ Computer
Well, it's been a year or two. Guess it's time to deal with yet another fried computer.
My compy is dead. Won't even start. This is, most likely, due to the t-storm we we had Sunday that knocked our power out after a large bang. All my other computer hardware is fine. Just my computer that won't start.
So, after eliminating a number of other potential issues I was left with either the power supply being bad or the mobo. [Or, I guess, the CPU could be a problem too.] So, I decided I'd be optimistic and get a new PS.
Guess what? That didn't fix the problem. *sigh*
Oddly enough, I'm not as morbidly depressed as I would normally be inthis situation. I'm going to get another box from work to cover that situation. I don't play WoW. I've been taking a break from EvE. I have no real committment to LOTRO. [Although I do miss playing it a bit.] And this gave me an excuse to set the Mac up for a little bit, letting me see about pulling my pics that I don't have anywhere else off of it.
But, of course, this couldn't have happened at a worse time, financially. I've had to pay for vet and dentist bills recently. I'm left wondering how I'm going to pay for both the mortgage and have food. So I'm probably going to have to do without my main system until late August.
I need another hobby. :P
