So, for all those thinking that a vote for Obama will bring about an end to the invasive policies created post 9/11, that we will see a reduction of our government's attempts to curtail our rights to free speech, privacy and fair use, I present the counter-argument: Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden:
Joe Biden's pro-RIAA, pro-FBI tech voting record
The article starts out with Biden's record supporting the extreme positions held by RIAA and MPAA, which is the lightest stuff on the record. The legislation he creates, proposes and supports, even as early as '95, in regards to intrusion of privacy, banning of encryption, allowance of military handling of criminal adjudication, restrictions on free speech, etc. is astounding. And this is the man selected to stand next to the great Bringer of Change?
And here I thought Hillary would be the worst VP candidate option for Barack...
