Thanks to my mother-in-law being a complete insane flake, Marie and I are stuck doing yet another "move" in order to salvage what we can of her stuff before her house is retaken by the landlord. "Mom" has already fled to Illinois, abandoning everything she owned. Including family heirlooms and the ashes of her late husband.
In any case, I must, once again, put out the request for moving assistance. We will be in Tamarac on Saturday, 17.November to pick up the truck and start the loading process. Anyone down south who would be willing to help would be appreciated. The usual fee of food and drink will be offered, as well as dibs on anything left in the house that we are not trying to take with us. [Don't expect much useful. But if you see something you want, goferit.]
As of right now [and I say "right now" because my wife keeps changing her plans on me] we intend to start the unloading process the following Sunday in Port St. Lucie. We hope to have a couple people to help us up there. But if you ever felt like coming to visit the new Chez Frank that would be a wonderful day to do it. Food and drink will still be available. But no, you can't take stuff from this house for your own. [No, my computer is not being abandoned. So don't get any ideas. :P ]
If you would like to come to either end of this new moving run, call me on my cell for locations and directions. If you don't have my number, respond here and I'll find a way to contact you directly.
To those who come, thanks in advance. :)
