let me tell you something. Black History Month. thats cool i like it, the assembly is good too. the speaker we had was a very very smart man with a lot of good things to say. the stomp was impressive, but i couldnt help and think that not only the black history assembly, but maybe even the black history month was revolving around Mike Ellis dancing

agreed. I really liked the speaker a lot. I think what he had to say was really applicable and important. I will admit that I felt bad for him when he finished, the show went on to Mike Ellis wearing an afro wig, and getting his thang on. Now don't get me wrong, Cause Mike Ellis knows how to shake that ass, but it was realy against everything he had just said.
Black History Month being about remembering people who died so blacks could be equal, instead of "learning about a couple of new black people."

On another note, I think Shrewsbury is exceedingly racist in being so enamoured with blacks. Were so sheltered that whenever a new african american student comes to school, we're all like "Oooooooh. A REAL black person."

seriously i think that him dancing to 3 mj songs in a row was almost a slap in the face to the speaker. they should have given the flowers to ellis and not that guy, because for whom did the crowd cheer? assholes.

Black history month is to celebrate black people. Michael Jackson was black was he not? Michael Ellis is a new black person. Is he not black?
