My fourth novel 'Mettle's Forge' is finished.
Forty-seven chapter and something south of 200,000 words. Nothing left but the editing. I have to finish editing the first three chapters by the end of February, so I can submit it to Wizards of the Coast.
But there's more. While I've been working on 'Mettle's Forge' I've also finished over a hundred pages of my fifth novel, 'Fourfold'. And I've written twelve short stories. I now average writing 2,000 words a day, five days a week. I think I'm getting a bit obsessed about getting published, which may be good or bad, depending on the circumstances.
I'll shift working to 'Fourfold' as the 'primary' and make short stories and my sixth novel 'Fortress Humanity' as my 'secondary' project.
I will not be denied. Victory will be mine.
