Well, there I go. I'm all set up, and my fine-ass journal is up and running. Now what to post about.... Hmm... I think I'll talk about my impending adventure. Tomorrow I'm going to Boston with Stacey. Last time we went, we did a harbor cruise, which was nice except that it was narrated. Oh, god, narrations...
What the fuck is wrong with people that they need to narrate everything? I know the average person needs constant inane stimulation to prevent them from accidentally having a thought or something, but it's getting somewhat absurd. Like tonight, I was watching TV and it was molesting me with "The World's Most Fabulous Commercials", which in and of itself is intrinsically wrong. The hosts of the show were not content to allow us to simply *watch* these commercials; no, they want to *explain* them to you, the retarded viewing audience. I will never understand the need to have everything explained in play-by-play format. As a culture, we are simultaneously annihilating subtlety and independent thought. Way to go, America. Another fabulous triumph.
