How about an update...
Right now I'm in Kennewick to build the stage for the musical event that's happening here.
I left Yesterday afternoon and we checked into our hotel last evening. Today we woke up, built the stage in 4 hours and now there isn't much else to do, but enjoy the music and events until we have to disassemble the stage tomorrow night. We'll then stay the night and head home Sunday morning.
Monday we'll start prepping for the 4-day Blues festival at Sunbanks, which we leave for on Wednesday. For that show we'll be providing lights, sound and instruments. Everything BUT the stage, which is already in place. Then it's pretty much party and run sound for the bands for a few days and again head back on Sunday (which will be a week from this Sunday).
And this is only the beginning of the summer. Aside from the various other shows at casinos and block parties, as well as DJ gigs, I also have numerous 3-5 day shows to look forward to in the coming months, including Winthrop Blues Festival and Mt.Baker Blues Festival, not to mention a repeat of the previously mentioned Sunbanks Blues Festival in September.
