Why MDs sit in ivory towers
...because they're too dangerous when they're let loose on the office floor. My MD has been sending screaming abusive emails all weekend about how he can't access the new version of our intranet. I don't think he was even trying the right link. I sent full instructions to everyone regarding the changes, and as usual, about 10 people come back within minutes asking how to do one of the things addressed in the email. Why do I bother? I've had to spend the entire morning "handling" these "issues" rather than continuing with my work....grr
