I now have a nice 26" RCA thin-screen HDTV with a built-in DVD player for my room. There's no cable but now I can play my consoles without having to ask if I can commandeer the TV. Two problems have made themselves especially prevalent with the new TV:

1.) My room is in dire need of cleaning up. I'll probably dedicate the coming trinity off to at least making the area I walk through wider (I have about 18+/- inches of floor visible).
2.) Due to a multitude of hard falls and impacts from being carried around, my PS2 is officially dead. No power light comes on, which at first had me freaking out I wouldn't be able to even run my consoles on the TV (which was the main point I dropped the $580 on it). This puts off my eventual completing everything in FF XII even longer, and I've had it since the day after FWA 2007.

Highlights from work
* Finding $2 along Tara Blvd.
* A TV crew showed up around half-past 9. Seems they were doing some feature on a girl that had decided to go home. One of the guys handling it wanted to know if my boss had a business card to discuss working with them I guess.
* Being an idiot and not realizing the journal's printer was out of paper when I see the register telling me that the printer was offline.

Two others things to mention.
* To help out a friend, I'm donating some stuff for her to sell on eBay, taking any profits she makes from the auctions for herself. In addition, she'll finally be receiving the present I got her at FWA this year.
* I came home to a sink half covered over with mold, with a washcloth floating in that sickening muck to boot. After draining the sink and using the faucet and water sprayer to clean up the sink, the water continued to run even after I shut off the valve. I called up my aunt, asking her where the valve for the sink was and after shutting it as far right as I could the flow has been reduced to just a single column of water less than a pencil's width. But it's still flowing regardless.
