Zombie Uprising, Day one...
ok, not really. but I sure feel like a zombie. Phae and Joshua came home from the hospital yesterday and we settled in. Sadly, Joshua seems to have a penchant for the night life, and he's a Sipper, not a gulper. every 20-30 minutes he'd fuss up and want "da boob", take 3 or 4 swallows, then promptly fall asleep. if you put him down once he was asleep, in ten minutes he starts it all over again. However, I found that if you hold him, he'll sleep nearly indefinitely. So around 2 I took the baby out of the bedroom to give phae some rest, then she swapped places with me a few hours later. and I slept until 7 this morning. so, 3 or so hours of sleep for either of us, but I took kiddo again this morning and Phae got to sleep a bit more. its not a satisfying amount of sleep, and I'm sure we're both cranky as all get out. Joie and Phidgit just got back from Grandma's, she took them so we could nest a little last night and only have to deal with one crying / screaming tantrum factory. Still, he's a cutie when he falls asleep on my chest, so Teeny.
