Nekkid dog.
Mike's mom took Kina to the groomers yesterday. She had told me she was getting a really short cut.
I walked in the door after work and nearly freaked out. "Where'd this dog come from?" Oh, wait. Yeah, then the laughing started.
The dog has been BUZZED. Except for her tail. It's hard not to laugh. Thankfully, Kina's not a sensitive dog. I've known dogs that laughing at them like that would put off their mood for days... or they'd shit in your shoes.
I was also glad to be able to see Mike and W's reaction when they saw the dog. Yup. They laughed for a good five minutes too. Mike sat on the ground with her to check out her 'do. Kina ate up the attention.
The sad thing is, Mike likes the short hair so much more. I even asked him if he might love the dog more with short hair. He said, he thinks he would. Heh. Mike's all for getting her tight cropped like this regularly. He even thinks she should have a new name. Except for her eyes, she'd be unrecognizable as the same dog.
Mike says, maybe the dog going to the groomer's is a show that his family loves the dog too.
Now, if they'd only get her pest control prescriptions.
