Local memories.
Jack Bruce in Woodinville last July. I was off on 3rd row stage right. I wish I'd gone up and shaken his hand--the water bit on the end of the video was a guy wanting to shake Jack's hand and he was a bit confused--he thought the guy wanted his water bottle. This was before his smartass remark about having invented emo with "We're Going Wrong".
The video is the tail end of "Sunshine of Your Love" and the entirety of "Sitting on Top of the World".
I liked that...SoTotW is a favorite of mine.
I can play and sing in time with "Sitting on Top of the World" even when drunk off my ass (not my own commentary there). The bass is always on. The voice...well, hitting pitch doesn't always equal a pleasing timbre. My poor roommates...
Jack's got energy, but having watched him for a long time, I think he's not much longer for the world. More's the pity.
Especially after watching him get into the car on the way out... :(
