Ahh, summer
Yes, it's summer. And have I slept in like any normal teenager would be doing during the wonderful phenomenon called summer vacation? Well, I got to sleep in on Monday, but that was it.
So far this summer has felt like a regular school week. I did get a lot done though. I've almost finished cleaning my room and I've started to fill out applications for some scholarships. I'm searching for one more college to add to my list of only three currently, and then I'm going to start doing things like writing the essays and whatever else I can do before school starts.
I got senior pictures taken two days ago. Now that was weird. I had to change clothes about a zillion times and the photographer was trying to get me into all these weird poses. But I think there were some really nice pictures. Natalie, Amanda and Carl-- You're going to flip when you see one of them...let's just say it has something to do with our orchestra joke...
I'm getting annoyed that no matter what I try to do I can't seem to get a job. Of course, right now I'm limited to whatever I can ride my bike to, but still. My mom's been getting on my butt about it and I feel bad. I feel like I should try harder but I don't know how. What else can I do besides apply and hope for the best? I've been turned down now more times then I'd like to admit. Ah well. Babysititng and gigging until I can drive. Speaking of which, I could use a Celtic gigging partner (hint-Natalie-hint)
