when people turn around and say 'college is the best time of your life', how do you respond to that? you think that is a product of college itself, or the craptasticness of their value menu lives?
i've espoused this before; 4/5 people pursing a bachelor's degree don't need it. they don't even want it. for those 4/5 people, college is the gateway to a life of mediocrity. i talked to a friend of mine that graduated; he is excited because he is making 45k a year working for progressive auto insurance.
so yeah, college is the best part of a life dedicated to managing auto insurance.
i'm ready to hurry up and get out of here though. there are so many things i want to do that college is just getting in the way of. if i knew myself better i would have skipped the U altogether, but by the time i figured it out i was halfway through. now the whole college experience has become a big pain in the ass that i need to get through before i can move on.
so gang, what's your take. i know you're all in different spots with higher education so why not indulge in a little group therapy.
plus i haven't seen watchmen yet. published reviews have been mixed but i always hated 'professional' critics. someone fill me in.
