Just Outside The Cat's Lair, Third Earth, Monday Evening
It hadn't escaped Snarf's notice that Lion-o had been uncharacteristically subdued since his encounter with Mumm-ra. So Snarf hoped that a birthday celebration would help cheer up the Lord of the Thundercats. He teamed up with the Robear Berbils to set up picnic/barbecue in the open field in front of the Cat's Lair. The Berbils had put up a large tent to provide shade while Snarf cooked some of Lion-o's favorite foods. Naturally, that meant there was a lot of red meat. There were hamburgers, fries, milkshakes, sodas, and a huge assortment of locally-grown candyfruit.
Besides the rest of the Thundercats and the Berbils, Snarf had sent invites to Lion-o's friends from Fandom. There was a convenient portal drop-off just a few feet away from the tent. Snarf just hoped that reinforcements arrived soon, because Lion-o was staring off into the distance instead of enjoying the party. He hadn't even touched his burger.
