It was a great relief to have the weekend coming to an end without anything strange happening. It seems that something had gone weird nearly every weekend so far since he arrived on Third Earth. Last week, there was a polar bear that turned up claiming to be his daemon. The weekend before that, he'd turned into a girl. It had been a little terrifying at first, but it had been very helpful when trying to form an alliance with the Warrior Maidens of the Treetop Kingdom.
But for now, he was going to enjoy the end of his quiet weekend. He'd need to be well-rested because Panthro had finally agreed to teach him how to drive the Thundertank.
