(no subject)
I got my new geek goggles today. Same prescription as before but better quality lenses, so everything is clearer but a lil' vertiginous as they're flatter. They're Hugo Boss too so a bit flashier than the pair I thought I'd lost. Huzzah.
We've had more news on the office move today. It'll happen in May/June as we need to spend July getting the place back to how it was before we mutilated it with meeting rooms and so on. Thankfully one of the locations being considered is London Bridge, which would be *way* more awesome than Farringdon and Victoria as it means I can do some middle class food shopping at Borough Market, as well as post-boozing after work at The Rake. *And* it's three stops from home on the Jubilee Line, which I guess is actually a lesser priority for me than being near cool things. But we'll see. It means more work for me as I have to project manage get the IT infrastructure moved and kitted out (we're getting third party minions to do the actual grunt work). Should be fun, as long as it doesn't overrun into my summer holidays.
The wife is currently in Switzerland until Sunday, and then he's off caving next weekend. The scooter is still dead so I can't take that out and it's going to be too cloudy and cold to go walking in the countryside. Absolutely no idea what I'm doing yet, although there are beer festivals in Cambridge and Colchester next weekend...
