Ugh. The good comes with the bad.

yeah so with the promotion at the Gelato shop: a bunch of shitty stuff happened right afterwards. The timing of it all seems like they're related. Budget wise I'm sure they are. Regardless I feel guilty and fake. I guess putting up a face isn't all that unusual for me, but this just feels icky. Looks like I'm collecting more bottles for my emotions. I wonder where those are stored. I wonder if it will lead to random crying. Like I'm going to drop something heavy on my foot one day and I'm just gonna start to bawl like a baby. Who knows. I guess we'll just have to see, since I don't have any idea how else to process this stuff.

So yeah, I want to get out of this place. Funny how that happens almost immediately after I got trained. So yeah, my heart hurts. Maybe it shouldn't and I'm just being too empathic, but that's just how it is.

So on that note, I've sent off a package to this company in Redwood City and the art director has let me know that he received it. I'm looking forward to a response. Positive or negative, it's what I want. Positive = interview. Negative = I need to keep up the artistry and depending on feedback send out more packages. Although maybe not next day delivery next time. 19 dollars no thanks.

In the package I included some artwork sheets and I included the below just because:

as you can see I'm on a big fantasy kick. Then again... when am I not?

If you like addictive games designed for air force pilots... voila:

I made it to 12 seconds (EDIT: 15s it speeds up!). I'm sure others can do better and with enough practice I'm sure I could push to their proposed 18 seconds. Air force pilots are expected to go for 2 minutes. Try it out.

Tomorrow is my day off and I hope to have a good day. Today was kinda... meh.

Also, watch 'There Will Be Blood'.
