Farewell 2007
Back from chalet. What can I say? It was one hell of a blast despite all the shortcomings and running around. Thanks to everyone who was there to make it such a special event. Hopefully next year, I can do a better one (or we can get someone's house to crash which would be a lot cheaper =p).
Anyway, with a few more hours to 2008, I think its time I made some serious resolutions. I'm not the type to really make resolutions but I think I should make some for this year so that I can push my ass to move forward in (mainly) my musical endeavours. So here we go..
Resolutions for 2008
1. Get an acoustic guitar and learn how to play it. At least be able to play rhythm parts for songs by the end of the year.
2. Write my own song. On my own. Without help from anyone. Not because I don't want it, more so to push myself to do my own stuff (solo stuff, if you will).
3. Write more songs with my band(s). As in, actually come up with the chords and melody structure of the song(s) before passing it to the guys to work it out.
4. Improve my vocals and be able to sing and play guitar during gigs.
2007, The Year of the Pig has been a memorable one with many important lessons that I learned about life, people and myself. Taking all these lessons to heart, I will continue to strive for higher ground in the coming year of 2008. Time for me to make my mark on this little island that I call home. The time is upon us. Decide the Destiny.
