Its official. I'm not the vocalist of Aries Kaizer anymore. After almost 5 years of playing with them, the guys have felt that because of my (low) musical level, I'm holding the band back. So they are now looking for a new vocalist. Can't say that I saw this coming but I guess I now see the importance of improving myself beyond the technical and feel aspect of singing.. i.e. I got to get into the theory so that it will improve my singing/playing especially when it comes to composing songs, doing impromptu stuff and vocal soloing. Which is why I'm learning how to play the guitar (yeah, I know.. frickin late at this point in life)
The good news is that they're not totally kicking me out of the band. It's kinda like being put on the bench instead of being on the field with the team when they're playing. I'm still jamming with them but now as a guitarist. There is a possibility of me going back as a vocalist for Aries Kaizer but definitely not anytime soon. Maybe its a good thing, maybe not. Who knows? I just have to make the most out of this situation and take it as an oppertunity to improve myself. Perhaps it was a good thing that I joined O.V.A. Hito, coz I have something to fall back on. If not I would have probably broken under the strain of this matter. And so another chapter in my musical journey begins..
JoJo Valentino, signing off.
P.S: I'M _FINALLY_ ATTACHED!! XD
