Today I'm switching rooms one of the guys I live with. The room I'm in now is large and pretty nice, but it doesn't have any external windows. I say external because I do have a window... into the storage room. The new room will be rather smaller, but I've gone without a sunlit room for two years, and it's getting old. I think it will help with winter depression this coming year, and I'll be able to get up in the mornings more easily. This is good since I'll have a 9 AM class during the Summer 1 session. I think it's the first morning class I've had in three years.
I was amazed by the amount of stuff I have in my room. It really becomes apparent how much crap you have when you have to almost single-handedly move it up a flight of very narrow stairs. Also, I had forgotten how really heavy books can be.
I also hadn't realized how disgusting this room is. HUGE dust bunnies, dead palmetto bugs behind furniture, etc. Ugh.
