$700 Billion? wtf???
Ok, let me get this right. Now, as an individual, if my job is sold overseas to somebody making $1 a day, and I can't make my house payments any more, and the greedy bank decides to foreclose on my home, then my credit rating, aka. value as a human being, drops to worthless. The rest of my life is ruined, because I was "careless" and "frivolent" with my money and obviously couldn't manage my life.
However, if I steal from the poor, set people up to fail for my own greed and benefit, I can walk away free. After screwing half the people in Amerika out of their money, I can screw the other half (ie. taxpayers) out of theirs too with a nice government bailout. And, I get to walk away with million dollar bonuses and pension.
What's wrong witht this picture of Amerika? No wonder we are the laughing stock of the world.
