Michael Crichton has died and left behind a legacy of enjoyable, if a bit light, literature. In my youth, he was a favorite. While I have moved on in what I consider "great," I still admit that I have read Jurassic Park and Rising Sun a lot more times than I have read Critique of Pure Reason.
