Today is National Coming Out Day. I wanted to come out again and proudly say on behalf of all those who can't be open yet, that I am a member of the leather/kink, Polyamory (polyamorous) communities as well as being a long time equal rights/lgbt activist. In a country that claims that there is great freedom, there STILL are many people who are TOO afraid for their jobs, their families and even their safety if they do not fit into what society deems to be "the norm." I hope that one day EVERYONE will be totally free to openly love whomever they choose [and in the way they chose - totally Safely, sanely, and consensually] and the laws will respect and honor that love.
