Yayy! I finally like my hair color. I mean...I liked it before, but it didn't turn out exactly the way I planned. The color didn't work that much in the back, last time. This time, it worked really well. Recently, I ordered the same Pillarbox Red color that I have been using, but, this time, I got the "amplified formula," which lasts longer. I also got Flaming Red in the gel formula, which has more pigment, and lasts longer than the cream formula. I mixed those two colors together, and after I was done with all of that, I applied heat (slow speed/high heat) for about 15 minutes. I wish it would stay this way for awhile, but, unfortunately, it will be about 2 shades lighter when I wash my hair, tomorrow. In addition, I'm not one of those people who can wash their hair only once a week, and still look clean. Not only that, but the color doesn't last long at all for me because my hair wasn't bleached white before using the red. My hair would die, and end up looking like Don King.
I should work on stuff tonight because, honestly, I should be working on stuff every night, since I have a lot to do, and I only have one week left. Actually, I don't even have that much time left, depending on the class. However, I need to have at least one day off with no work. I will probably end up watching the rest of the bonus features for Lost, and watch something else that I recently bought--most likely Clueless and/or some of Nip/Tuck - Season 2.
I gave my New York project CD to my teacher on Friday night. I'm leaving it in her hands. She is supposed to take it to Tim, who works in the Printshop. I'm trying not to have high expectations of getting this done for the last day of class. She has told me several times that she won't mind if it's not done, but I want it to be done for my class to see. Everyone knows that I've been working on it, and some have seen the final piece on the computer. I just think it will be a big let down, if I show up, and tell everyone that it's not ready yet. The thing is it won't be my fault if it's not ready. This has been done since the beginning of last week, and my teacher is so freakin' busy that I have a feeling that she just won't get around to printing this for me in time. Hell, she didn't even read the email I sent her days before last night's class. I'm just going to have to wait and see if she is able to do it. I should stop by her office in the beginning of next week. Otherwise, I won't see her until the night before I have that class with her. That's cutting it too close. I will still have to frame the canvas after it's printed, which I don't even know how to do. Yes, I do know that you just put a big frame together, wrap the canvas around the edges, and staple it, but that's just the basic idea. It still doesn't change the fact that I've never done it before, and could fuck it up.
