My family never really seems to understand how busy I can be. They must think I'm exaggerating or using work as an excuse not to do something.

Mom: "What are you doing?'
Me: "Working."

Me: "What are you doing?"
Mom: "Shopping."
Me: "Must be nice."

Hmm....would I rather be here, working or shopping with my Mom and sister? Trust me--I'd rather be with them. Then I get "Call me sometime this weekend, and maybe you can help me look for a DVD Recorder." That was from my Mom. Then my sister says "We're gonna be hanging out at my mother-in-law's house on Monday. If you want to come over and spend the day there, then you can." Did I not mention that I have 7 projects to do in 3 weeks? That means I'm going to be working every single day. I guess I should just be thankful that they offer invitations like that, no matter what, but at the same time it just feels like they aren't listening to me when I tell them how difficult school is. I don't think they realize that school is different now, and my field is definitely different from others.
