There are some actors who make every movie better by appearing. Stealing slightly from theferret, if I were to rank movies on a scale from one to ten, the following actors would provide these bonuses:

His current movie is pretty bad from what I've heard...

"The Illusionist" or whatever, everyone I've talked to has given it bad reviews. :( I like Eddy, he shouldn't do bad work.

Eddy did a good job. In fact all the actors (Norton, Paul Giamatti, Rufus Sewell and Jessica Beil) did a great job in the movie.

But it still was not a good movie. The plot has been done so many times before and this time there was not a compelling twist to make it interesting.

It was a well acted, bad movie. I blame the director/screenwriter (who is the same person).
