Let's Do the Time Warp Again!
This weekend was Rocky Horror again! WOOO!!!
It marked a great event for a rather hellish weekend.
At the end of the month the Cedar Lee Theater is doing a Late Night Double Feature Picture Show. Shock Treatment then The Rocky Horror Picture Show, now that is a tempting combination. The only downfall is that the movies are playing in reverse order: Shock Treatment then Rocky. This means that the further adventures of Asshole and Slut come before she is a slut. *sigh*
I have never seen Shock Treatment, even on video. Sigh.. so long since I was a virgin at a Rocky event... Oh, Shock Treatment will have a cast also.
We tried to sacrifice Michelle (Jeanie's pantherpg little sister) but they only picked 4 virgins from the crowd. The cast was significantly better than the poor excuse of the one at the Oaks. Sorry, but the cast at the Oaks needed help. They tried way too hard and put too much emphasis on the "correct" call outs. The Cleveland crew was more interested in the floor show and let the audience have fun with the call outs.
Now, on a side note about the Cedar Lee's print of Rocky. Why the hell cann't the Oaks get that quality of a print? It was in incredible shape. I was truly impressed. The theater was a very modern stadium seating place.
If you are in Cleveland on the first Saturday of the month, I highly recommend the Rocky performace there.
