Another $100 for anti-NRA efforts.
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/11/28/active-shooter-situation-reported-near-colorado-springs-planned-parenthood/ In happier news it's Thanksgiving weekend and we've had lots of time off, though I think the family is gradually progressing towards the annual colds of death. We went to the Pedrozas for dinner as usual, though since my parents are moving here, we might do our own family thing next year. Of course they will be living one freeway exit away from the Pedrozas. Massive overeating!
Yesterday Avalon was sick so Holly stayed home and I went to Hilary's friend's Eric's house with Journey to eat leftovers. Her friends Ross and Selena came with their two kids and we played Pandemic, a cool co-op board game with relatively simple mechanics. But even though they were simple we screwed up one of the rules each game and wound up winning trivially. Whoops. I guess in a co-op game you aren't too incentivized to make sure the other people are not cheating, haha.
Then Ron came over and we also played Cards Against Humanity which Hilary and Ron had never played. Such a filthy game. They were hugely amused.
