Past life...or pizza?
Last night, I had a very disturbing experience. I've had dreams before, and sometimes I get some pretty vivid ones, but last night blew me away...literally.
Apparently, I was a soldier in WWII, in the midst of a firefight. My unit and I were holed up in a bombed out building, firing across the street. I don't remember all the details, but it was pretty intense. I can remember the atmosphere quite clearly, but any dialogue or anything evades me. Anyway, jump to the end...I'm shot three times. I can actually remember FEELING three bullets punching through me. That wasn't the end. I also remember quite clearly falling to the ground, trying to breath and finding it very hard...and slowly dying. When the end came, I awoke rather violently, and found out that less then an hour had passed since I went to bed.
Now, I can remember this pretty well, considering it's almost 24 hours since it happened. As it turns out, the rest of the night...I don't remember a thing. I tried to figure out where this had come from and came up blank. No games I was playing, no movies I had watched recently...nothing.
Shit like this bothers me...but who knows. I did have pizza for dinner :)
