no we just picked them up from wal mart the other day. i guess there are a ton of people in my hall with them... last year they took over another dorm haha.

how do you even go about modding them?

depends on what you do, but basically they make guns wicked powerful and then put in restrictors. So you take those off (usually requires you to make your own darts though) and maybe put in a stronger spring if there's a spring-powered device in there anywhere (almost always is). there are a lot of sites for it; for instance nerfhaven.com and myriad others.
