Fun new game
Well, about a year ago, I bought a game that came with the Aliens vs. Predator II demo. Having heard horror stories about the original AvP, I didn't do much with it. Well, today I was bored with my other games that I have played far too often, so I said 'What the hell?' and popped AvPII in. Boy, was I surprised. The demo Colonial Marine mission was incredibly fun, and scared the living hell out of me. I still haven't gotten the hang of controlling the Alien, and close-up work really isn't my forte anyway. The Predator mission really shined, though, what with the P's self-healing and energy restoring toys, thermal vision, and kickass weapons. I can't tell if I liked the Marine or Predator versions better. Since the game's been out for quite some time and thus should be very cheap, I may just have to go out and buy it. Amazon has it for $15, so I may just buy it and a new copy of Dark Side of the Moon (best Pink Floyd ever, even better than Wish You Were Here) to have enough of an order to get the super-saver free shipping deal thingy.
