Wedding stuff

Argh, wedding planning is driving me crazy. We have a smaller budget than I had originally counted on and now we can't afford the places that I liked the most. I'm determined to have the wedding on Halloween of this year, but most of the places that actually are in our price range are now booked. Heh, no, I don't think I've been accused of spamming :)

I just want a wedding that is a lot of fun, reflects our personalities well, and that doesn't put us into debt. I think we can handle that.

I think our came to about $10k, but nearly half of that was the photographer. We learned the hard way that it wasn't necessary to spend so much on the photos!

That's pretty close to our budget, actually, but the money just doesn't go far here at all...the food is likely going to be at least $5000 on its own!

We had it as an afternoon tea, rather than a sit-down meal. It suited the theme of our wedding, and was really cheap! I think it worked out at about $6 per person! We had sandwiches and scones, tea and coffee and fruit punch. And wedding cake, of course. :)
