(no subject)
I am at a conference this morning (had to get here at 8am!!) and I know everything that the instructor is talking about right now, so I guess I can use the time to catch up with my LJ!
I won't talk about work right now, since I'm in a room with 3 of the administrators from my school, but I'll just say that things have gotten a lot more difficult and I have been SWAMPED lately. I am so ready for Thanksgiving and then Winter Break. That is the best thing about working in education; much needed, scheduled time off!
Anyway. I guess the biggest news with me is that Steve and I have started looking at engagement rings. No, we're not engaged just yet, but I suspect that it will happen before the end of the year. Since my heart is set on having a halloween wedding, I've started compiling a list of resources on a wiki - http://halloweenwedding.wikispaces.com. It's a protected wiki so anyone can view it. If you have resources you'd like to add, just create an account and message me and I'll probably add you. I'd really love to have a wedding on Halloween '09, but I'm not having much luck finding an available venue in our (cheap-ass) price range. It has to be indoors, which complicates things.
Also, I am having a horrible time with my eyes. I have baffled no less than 9 doctors and no one can figure out what's going on. So, it looks like I'll be going to more doctors over Winter Break. Hopefully they can figure out what is wrong.
