Home, finally
I just wanted to thank everyone for the good wishes!
We are finally home and Steve is medicated and in bed. It went fairly well, though everything was very delayed. Steve did have his ACL replaced with a cadaver ACL (he's part zombie now!) and he had to have his right meniscus completely removed and part of his left. They gave him some kind of nerve blocker so he's kind of numb right now, but that's supposed to wear off tomorrow and he'll probably be in a lot of pain. He has an appointment with the doc on Monday to see how he's doing.
I must crash now, it's been a long and stressful day. Thank you, again, for your kind words!
