broken door
I'm sure you've seen a movie or tv show where someone breaks through a door by slamming against it with their shoulder. They make it look easy, don't they? Turns out it is easy. How do I know? I JUST BROKE DOWN MY OWN DOOR!
I've been locked out of my apartment with no keys, no phone, and no wallet for about an hour and a half. Basically, when I took the trash out, the only thing I remembered to bring was pants. I remembered pants. Not socks, oh no, just pants, sandals, and a shirt. *grumble grumble*
I tried contacting my landlord in every way possible, including walking the block to her house. No dice. So after long enough, I got impatient and broke down my own door in one hit. I'm really disturbed at how easy it was. I'm gonna start using my deadbolt.
