cancelled plans
I was going to go to a giants game again with Leslie tonight. She cancelled on me with possibly the most surprising excuse ever. She just found out yesterday that one of her close friends has brain cancer, was up all night crying, and thus is not in the mood for a baseball game. How horrible is that?
Leslie has had to cancel or avoid plans with me several times over the last few weeks, so when she first told me she wasn't going to be able to make it tonight, I was about to jokingly chastise her as a flake. I'm really glad I didn't get the chance before she explained why. It would not have been funny at all.
