Happiness is...
Consuming an entire bottle of champagne, whilst watching Charlie and the Chocolate factory. And then starting on a bottle of wine, and then getting onto the next one.
I don't usually enjoy watching movies for a second time around. Usually, the only time I can tolerate doing it is a number of years following the previous viewing. However, CatCF has been on my mind, even in far thought, ever since I saw it. Never really watched the original. But the version with Depp caught my mind and my heart, and it still has it in it's grip.
There were scenes where I cried, tears of emotion induced by the director and his construct of this fictional world, the struggles of some of the main characters and some of the hardships that I can understand all so well.
Laughter was heard, bellowing out from me, so much humor and fun emnating from this movie, scenes of magic and imagination appealing to the inner child.
If my guestimations of what the director intended to occur in the audience is correct, then I fall well within their target group.
Fun is grand ^_^
