Oh wow, what a headfuck.
Trying to nut out who's a good candidate to provide life insurance for yours truly is a bit of a headache.
All I want to do is jump onto a website, put in some basic information, and get an idea of what sort of premiums I'd be paying with that particular company.
So far, it's just a mishmash of some with sites, some without sites. Some with quick quote features, some which require you to contact them/give them all your information. Some convering some types of life insurance, some with completely different things. Some with a nice neat & easy layout, which is understandable, some which require you to go and learn all the scary and confusing terms etc etc.
So far, the best two have just had a rates chart. Look up your age, whether or not you're a smoker, and apply any multipliers dependant on what work you do.
Dammit, the internet is meant to make things easier.
I hate trying to look up insurance. Car insurance was a nightmare. It made me want to cry. And it's still 1.5years until I turn 25, and can access the lower premiums.
I dread having to look up medical insurance. That's going to cause a tick in the depression/anxiety box.
Travel insurance hopefully won't make me want to conjur up/strangle Baby Jesus.
Thank goodness my bank offered really good home & contents insurance. My bank has been really good to me the past amount of years. Knock wood.
Hopefully we can avoid the annoyance of mortage insurance. Yuck.
