I did not post Friday because I didn't want to give away what was coming up....
Friday I got to work practicing rerverse folds. Look at all the pretty little folds!
I plundged in over the weekend with a surprise model of a Diving Duck. Which to no surprise, has multiple reverse folds to add a feather texture to the model. I have not put it into water to see if it dives or not! I guess this also means that there will be models presented over the weekend instead of just "creative ideas". Cool.
While I didn't have any pancakes on Monday, I did fold a Blintz Base. This is a standard technique to reduce the area/size of an origami square by half. This is usefull when you have origami papers with color on only one side but need to see both sides of the paper on the finished model.
